Right-sizing matters more than raw capacity. A 150 kg/day line running at 80% utilisation earns considerably more than a 500 kg/day line running at 20%; machines can be added to a well-planned layout later, but idle capital cannot be recovered. Remember that freight, duties, clearing, inland haulage and installation all sit on top of the machinery itself — plan for them explicitly rather than discovering them late. Electrical Compatibility
Nigeria and India both run 50Hz supply with 415V three-phase distribution and 230V single phase. Motors, gearboxes and control panels built for India drop straight into a Nigerian factory with no frequency conversion and no motor rewind. Machinery sourced from 60Hz markets does not have this advantage.
Capital Efficiency
Indian-built stainless machinery typically lands well below European equivalents of comparable specification. That matters most when you are financing a first plant rather than replacing an existing line.
Repairable On Site
Our machines use standard-section stainless fabrication, common bearing sizes and widely available motor frames, so a competent Nigerian fabricator or millwright can maintain them. That is a deliberate design choice — equipment only a factory technician can service is a liability at this distance.
Crop Similarity
Indian and Nigerian groundnut varieties behave comparably through roasting and blanching in terms of oil content and skin adhesion, so our roasting profiles and blancher settings transfer across without redesign.
Importing Machinery into Nigeria
We handle manufacture, pre-dispatch testing, export packing and documentation. Clearing on the Nigerian side is handled by your licensed agent.

Separately, NAFDAC registration applies to the peanut butter you sell, not to the machine. Registering your finished product runs on its own timeline, independent of equipment delivery. Start it early.

Star-delta or soft starters on higher-rated grinding motors, reducing the inrush current that trips generator sets on start-up. A connected-load schedule ships with every quotation so your electrical contractor can size the genset, changeover and stabiliser accurately instead of estimating.
Humidity-Conscious Build
Coastal Lagos humidity affects roasted kernel handling and finished-product shelf life. We advise on cooling-belt residence time and sealed storage accordingly, rather than shipping a specification designed for a dry inland climate.
Spares Held On Site
A recommended spares list ships with the order — grinding stones, bearings, seals and belts. At this distance, holding wear parts on site is the difference between a half-day stoppage and a six-week one.
Groundnut Sourcing Within Nigeria
Nigeria’s groundnut production is concentrated in the northern states — Kano, Kaduna, Jigawa, Katsina, Bauchi and Taraba — the belt that once supplied the Kano groundnut pyramids. For processors based in Lagos or the south, inbound freight and moisture control during transit are real cost lines that belong in your model from the start, not as an afterthought.
- Moisture drives your roast profile. A stable supplier relationship is worth more to product consistency than a marginally lower kernel price.
- Aflatoxin management starts at intake, not at grinding. Never skip the sorting table and vibratory sieve stage, however tempting the saving looks on the machine list.
- Rejecting bad kernels at intake is far cheaper than recalling finished product from the trade.

& Operator Training
Before Shipment
You receive general-arrangement layout drawings, foundation details, utility and connected-load schedules, and a full operating and maintenance manual — so your civil and electrical work can be finished before the machines arrive.
On Site
Commissioning support and operator training covering roast profiling, grinder gap setting, cleaning routines and preventive maintenance. Engineer deputation to Nigeria is quoted separately — travel, visa and per-diem are additional. Where an on-site visit is not practical, we run remote commissioning over video call, and we will tell you plainly at quotation stage which approach suits your line.
