Filling, Labelling and the Utilities Behind Them

This category covers the end of a peanut butter line, where product is filled and labelled, plus the support equipment the rest of the line depends on: holding tanks, process air and fan impellers. Peanut butter fills best when warm, so much of this equipment is built to hold it at the right temperature between grinder and jar.

Peanut Butter Filling Machine

The Peanut Butter Filling Machine is a volumetric piston filler with a jacketed hopper and heated product pathways. It is built in three configurations: PBFM-S (single head), PBFM-D (double head) and PBFM-R (rotary). Fill volume adjusts from 100 g to 5 kg with ±1% accuracy, and speed runs from 10 to 60 containers per minute depending on the model. Anti-drip nozzles keep containers clean. The machine fills jars, tubs, pouches and bulk containers, and handles smooth and crunchy butter. Contact parts are SS316 and the frame is SS304.

Labelling Machine

After filling and capping, jars go to the Labelling Machine. There are three versions: LBM-SA (semi-automatic), LBM-FA (fully automatic) and LBM-WA (wrap-around). Each applies self-adhesive paper or BOPP labels to round, square, oval or rectangular containers at up to 120 containers per minute, with ±1 mm placement accuracy. Sensors stop the machine when a container or label is missing, and the machine runs on single-phase or three-phase power.

SS Tank

An SS Tank sits between grinding or mixing and the filler. It works as a pre-fill buffer, a heated holding tank or an ingredient vessel. Tanks are made to order from 100 L to 10,000 L in SS304 or SS316 with a mirror-polished interior. An optional hot water or steam jacket keeps the butter at filling viscosity. An optional anchor or paddle agitator prevents oil separation during storage.

Industrial Blower and Aluminum Impeller

Blowers supply the air for blancher aspiration, pneumatic conveying, cooling-belt airflow and dust extraction. They are built as centrifugal, ring or positive displacement units, and each one is sized to the resistance of the system it serves. The Aluminum Impeller is a cast LM6 alloy fan wheel, from 200 mm to 1200 mm in diameter, with forward-curved, backward-curved or radial blades. Each impeller is balanced to ISO 21940 G6.3. It is supplied for new blowers or as a replacement, with the bore and hub machined to fit your existing shaft.

How to Choose

For filling, check that your pack sizes fall inside the 100 g–5 kg range, then choose single head, double head or rotary for the speed you need. Match the labeller to the filler's speed. At up to 120 containers per minute, it can keep pace with the fastest filler configuration. Size the tank to the buffer you need between grinder and filler, and add a jacket if the product must stay warm. For blowers, send details of the application and system so the unit can be matched to it. Buyers outside India should note that the site's country pages state that standard motors suit 50 Hz three-phase supply without conversion, with a connected-load schedule supplied with every quotation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Shrijee Nut Company offers semi-automatic volumetric piston fillers for small to mid-scale operations and fully automatic inline filling machines with auto-capping for high-volume plants. Both handle peanut butter at 45 to 55 degrees Celsius for optimal flow with minimal air entrapment.

Yes. Filling machines accept jar sizes from 100 g pouches up to 20 kg bulk pails through interchangeable nozzle and conveyor configurations. Changeover between jar sizes typically takes 15 to 30 minutes.

Semi-automatic fillers handle 20 to 40 jars per minute depending on jar size and operator skill. Fully automatic inline systems achieve 60 to 120 jars per minute including capping, with weight verification and metal detection inline.

Yes. Automatic self-adhesive labelling machines are available standalone or integrated inline with the filler. They handle wraparound, front-and-back, and tamper-evident labels with batch coding via integrated thermal printer or laser marker.

Yes. SS304 and SS316 storage and process tanks are supplied from 100 litres up to 5,000 litres with optional jacket cooling, agitators, level sensors and CIP spray balls. Hygienic design meets FSSAI Schedule 4 requirements.
