Peanut Butter Processing Plant: Equipment Line or Turnkey Project?
A peanut butter processing plant turns raw peanuts into filled, labelled jars in a fixed sequence: cleaning and sorting, roasting, cooling, blanching, grinding, mixing and filling. Shrijee Nut Company, based in Gujarat, India, engineers each plant as a matched system, so every machine is sized to the stages around it and no single section holds back output. Equipment is fabricated at Shrijee's facility in Rajkot and factory tested before dispatch.
Both options on this page cover the same process. The difference is how much of the project Shrijee takes on.
Peanut Butter Processing Line
The Peanut Butter Processing Line is the complete equipment package, from cleaning through labelling, supplied with installation, commissioning and operator training. It suits buyers who already have a building, utilities and staff, or who are adding capacity to an existing site. Lines are rated from 100 kg/hr to 2000+ kg/hr, accept raw or pre-roasted peanuts, and can be specified with manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic PLC control. Typical sections include the Radiant Ray Rotary Roaster, a modular cooling belt, a blanching machine, and the Peanut Butter Machine or a micro-cutting grinder, followed by a ribbon blender and filling machine.
Turnkey Peanut Butter Plant
The Turnkey Peanut Butter Plant wraps project management around the same equipment: feasibility study, plant layout drawings, utility requirements, civil work coordination, installation, commissioning, training and formal handover with documentation. It is aimed at entrepreneurs and food manufacturers setting up a new facility from the ground up who want one point of accountability instead of several contractors. Turnkey plants are designed from 100 kg/hr to 5000+ kg/hr and can produce flavoured peanut butter alongside smooth and crunchy grades.
What to settle before you request a quote
Capacity. Work back from the output you need per shift. Both options use modular layouts that leave room for later expansion, so a plant does not have to be built at its final size on day one.
Automation. The processing line is available from manual to fully automatic PLC control. Turnkey plants are semi-automatic or fully automatic with PLC SCADA.
Hygiene and export markets. All product-contact parts on both options are SS304 or SS316 stainless steel. Turnkey plant layout and drainage are designed to FSSAI or export-grade hygiene as specified, so overseas buyers should state the food safety requirements of their destination market at the enquiry stage.
Utilities. A peanut butter processing plant needs power, water and LPG or PNG. Exact figures are provided on request for the chosen configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions
A complete peanut butter processing plant includes raw-material handling, sorting, roasting, blanching, grinding (primary and secondary), mixing, filling, capping and labelling equipment along with utility systems like storage tanks, conveyors and dust extraction. Shrijee Nut Company supplies turnkey plants with installation, commissioning and operator training.
Capacity options range from 100 kg per day for small units to 5,000 kg per day for fully automated continuous-flow plants. The most common Indian SME setup is 500 kg per day in semi-automatic configuration.
A turnkey peanut butter plant takes 90 to 150 days from order placement to commissioning, including civil work coordination, machinery delivery, electrical and plumbing setup, machine installation, trial runs and operator training.
Yes. The same grinding and filling line produces both variants. Crunchy production adds a peanut granulator and vibratory sieve to introduce 8 to 18 percent peanut granules into the smooth base. Most plants alternate variants on the same line with a 30 to 45 minute changeover.
Yes. Every Shrijee Nut Company turnkey plant includes on-site installation, commissioning, operator training, a one-year warranty on machinery and ongoing spare-parts and service support across India and key export markets.
